My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

The Foster Writes:
Are you looking for the zen-vibes of kitty-Confucius, perhaps the stoicism of Mr. Splinter, or just a curious little hybrid-cat-seal? Mr. Coltrane is your man! His history is a bit of a mystery, but Mr. Coltrane is slowly but surely coming out of his shell. While he currently keeps to himself much of the day, Coltrane is quiet and gentle, and slowly coming out of his shell. He currently enjoys cheek pets and chin scritches and loves to lean right in -- occasionally you might even catch a glance of his charming little snaggle tooth :) In a patient, loving home, we think Coltrane can blossom into a delightful little curious cat.

A volunteer writes: Coltrane is looking for a forever home and we can't wait for him to find it. Sometimes the road home can be staggered, lurching at points, and even discouraging at times, but we can't give up. We keep going even when faced with unexpected challenges. Such challenges have brought Coltrane to us. We don't know much about Coltrane's history prior to coming to us, but we do know he's a senior who has lived with other cats and is waiting very patiently to find his forever family. When I went to visit with Coltrane, he was napping behind his bed and probably hoping I wouldn't notice him. Maybe he was having just one of those days that are perhaps happening on a bit of a loop for him at the moment. I let him know that I'm only here to cheer him on and that the perfect family is waiting out there to meet him. If you feel like opening your heart and home to a senior kitty, please come and meet our Coltrane.
