My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My foster writes: Despite his name, there is nothing scary about this Ghost, though you may find yourself wondering if HE has just seen a ghost when you pet him, especially when rubbing his belly and scratching his chin. This cute, small, beautiful little kitty will keep you entertained every moment you spend with him, and wants nothing more than to spend the rest of his life cuddling by your side after he tires himself out exploring every corner of your home and chasing string toys and lasers at full speed, with the energy and clumsiness of a young puppy. Ghost is truly one of a kind-not only because of his piercing green eyes and beautiful gray coat, but because he still has the boundless energy, curiosity and playfulness of a young kitten, and can truly become your most loving & affectionate lifetime companion if you nurture his playful nature and desire to always be near you. He is very friendly and curious toward strangers, and anyone willing to dangle a string toy that he can chase for hours on end. While Ghost has been living happily with a senior older brother in his foster home, he would also do great as the only cat in the home, and is fine with being home alone while you are at work.

A volunteer writes: Ghost made such a rockstar first impression by leaning onto his side to tuck his head into my hand. He's the consummate host and the life of the party with his little headbutts and soft purr, but our Ghost contains multitudes. We know Ghost loves crinkle toys and we've heard he knows how to play a good game of fetch. And then there are his cuddles. Ghost was like a butterfly first opening their wings when he first saw me. He cheerfully rolled out of his perfectly tucked circle and waved his paws for a moment before hopping over to begin the show. He is outgoing and friendly with love to share! However, Ghost can be a bit selective around people, which, to be perfectly honest, me too, but we know that he will be a wonderful fit for the right family. Please come to the Manhattan Care Center to meet this guy today.
