Handsome Paul has been through a lot, though you wouldn't know it from his loving personality. Found skinny, flea-covered, and with extensive head trauma of unknown origin, he was a candidate for euthanasia at the ER, but not so fast! Despite his condition, he nuzzled the staff and purred the entire time, showing how much he loves life... and humans. So the doctors and nurses cared for him until he was back on his paws again, and he has blossomed into one awesome cat!
Paul has found his confidence. He is a fearless, happy, and INCREDIBLY loving guy. When you get home from work, he runs down the stairs singing a song. On movie night, he moves from lap to lap, making sure everyone gets a chance to pet him. He prefers to sleep in bed with you at night and does a little happy prance when you wake up in the morning.
Paul is also adventurous. He is working on harness training and wears one in the house with no qualms. He also loves water and likes nothing better than drinking from a faucet or even getting in the shower with you if you let him. He enjoys other cats and has lived with a dog. Nothing shakes him. His motto is "All attention is good attention!"
Due to damage to his face, he is sneezy and snotty like a cat with an upper respiratory infection, though he is not actually sick. His condition is not infectious and does not require medication or special care. He just needs someone to accept him as he is, because, boy, is he ready to accept--and love--you back!
