Meet Vincent, an adorable four-month-old Lab/APBT mix who’s already showing off his smarts at just 14 pounds! Vincent has already mastered the “sit,” “look at me,” and “touch” commands, and he’s working on “come.” He’s a cautious little guy when meeting new people, but offer him a treat, and he’ll warm up quickly to become your new best friend. Vincent is a cuddle bug, leaning into pets like a cat, and he loves being handled and petted all over.

Though he’s still a puppy, Vincent is surprisingly mellow and easy to handle. He has a fun playful side too—he loves chasing and retrieving small stuffed toys! With his calm demeanor and sharp mind, Vincent will be a breeze to train and make a loyal, loving companion.

Vincent’s adoption fee of $300 covers his spaying/neutering, vaccinations, microchip, and a wellness visit at Phoenix Mountain Animal Hospital.

Home Fur Good has trained adoption counselors to review and question any potential problems/issues with application. We do require an adoption fee which ranges for dogs $150-$300 and for cats $50-$100. All cats and dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and vet checked.
If another dog or dogs are present in the household we require a meet and greet prior to adoption. All members of the household must be on board with adoption. We do not adopt our rescues out without meeting person that will be responsible - no "gift" adoptions. We contract that if cat/dog must be relinquished they are returned to us. If there is a change of ownership we must be kept informed who responsible party is. Fees are non refundable.

We do adoptions from shelter every Thursday 11:00am to 4:00 pm and we are at Petsmart Tatum and Shea every other Sunday from 11-3pm. Please check our website for more specifics.

More about this rescue

Home Fur Good is a non profit no kill animal shelter located in the NE Valley. We take a majority of our cats and dogs from County, many who have treatable medical conditions and would otherwise be put down. We assess physical and behavior and work with the cats/dogs to find the best suitable match. It is our goal that each cat or dog that comes to our shelter ultimately be placed in their "furever" homes.

We also operate a low cost vaccine and microchip clinic each Sunday. We want to help community be able to care for and keep their animals safe. We do not charge vet fee only fee for vaccine and microchip. Additionally we have a low cost dental clinic each Wednesday. Check our website for more details.
