Meet Cinnamon - The Sweet Brown Girl of the Hooks Hound Litter!
Cinnamon is a beautiful, sweet-natured girl with a lovely brown coat and a heart full of love. She was rescued from an abandoned life in the woods along with her siblings and has blossomed into a playful, energetic pup. Cinnamon is ready to start her new life with a loving family, and her friendly, affectionate personality is sure to steal your heart!
Cinnamon is great with other dogs and enjoys their company, but she’s also happy to be around people. While she has a lot of energy, she’s a bit more calm and reserved compared to some of her more bouncy siblings, making her a perfect companion for a family who can provide her with plenty of playtime and attention. She would do well with older children (over 5 years old), though her playful energy could be too much for small children. Cinnamon hasn’t been around cats, but she could be tested if needed.
Like the other Hooks Hounds, Cinnamon thrives in an active home. She enjoys running and playing in a big fenced yard and loves to stay active, but she’s also learning the ropes of leash training, so with a bit of guidance, she’ll be ready to go on walks and adventures with you. Cinnamon also does well in the car, riding safely in a crate, and is learning to signal when she needs to go outside to potty.
Cinnamon is heartworm negative and up-to-date on her vaccinations, making her a healthy pup ready for her new chapter. If you're looking for a sweet, loyal companion who will bring joy and love into your life, Cinnamon could be the perfect match for you!

More about this rescue
PAWS is comprised of a small group of volunteers from New England and Tennessee trying to reduce the euthanization rate (previously 90%) at the Tipton County Animal Control shelter in Brighton, Tennessee. This shelter is forced to euthanize thousands of animals each year due to irresponsible pet owners that do not spay/ neuter their dogs in the area. Millions of dogs in America are euthanized each year due to lack of space and lack of funding to try and find them better homes.
Our mission is to save as many animals as possible, removing them from the shelter, having their veterinary needs met prior to traveling and then finding them loving homes throughout New England. We do this only with the assistance of many people volunteering their time by going to the shelter, transporting the dogs to the vet, fostering dogs who need special care, and arranging for their new and happy homes in this area. Most importantly, we cannot do any of this without those people willing to open their homes and hearts to these lovely creatures.
