Meet Tito - The Playful Squirrel Chaser of the Hooks Hound Litter!
Tito is the definition of fun and energy! He’s the life of the party, always ready for playtime and adventure. If there’s a squirrel around, you can bet Tito will be the first to notice and the last to stop chasing! His playful spirit is infectious, and he loves running, jumping, and having a good time. However, Tito can be a little rough in play, so he’s best suited for an active home where everyone can keep up with his energy and enjoy some spirited fun.
Tito is a confident pup with a strong opinion on everything—and he’s not afraid to share it! His bold personality means he’s always ready for action and eager to interact with new people, though he may be a bit too bouncy for small children. Older kids, however, will love his playful nature and his willingness to engage in all kinds of games. Tito gets along well with other dogs and is always up for a playdate with his foster siblings. He hasn’t had much exposure to cats but could be tested if needed.
Tito thrives in an active home where he can get plenty of exercise and stimulation. A big fenced yard would be ideal for him to run around and explore. He’s still working on leash manners but is making progress every day, and like the other Hooks Hounds, he’s learning to signal when he needs to go outside for potty breaks.
If you’re looking for a fun-loving, loyal companion who will bring tons of energy and excitement to your home, Tito might just be the perfect fit for you!

More about this rescue
PAWS is comprised of a small group of volunteers from New England and Tennessee trying to reduce the euthanization rate (previously 90%) at the Tipton County Animal Control shelter in Brighton, Tennessee. This shelter is forced to euthanize thousands of animals each year due to irresponsible pet owners that do not spay/ neuter their dogs in the area. Millions of dogs in America are euthanized each year due to lack of space and lack of funding to try and find them better homes.
Our mission is to save as many animals as possible, removing them from the shelter, having their veterinary needs met prior to traveling and then finding them loving homes throughout New England. We do this only with the assistance of many people volunteering their time by going to the shelter, transporting the dogs to the vet, fostering dogs who need special care, and arranging for their new and happy homes in this area. Most importantly, we cannot do any of this without those people willing to open their homes and hearts to these lovely creatures.
