Meet Remy, a young, sweet, and somewhat goofy canine. He's always ready for a playful romp but can settle down exactly when need be. Despite his high energy, Remy is also incredibly smart, often showcasing his intelligence in surprising ways (professional treat stealer). He's the perfect cuddle buddy, always ready to snuggle up after a long day of fun. His loyalty is unwavering, making him the perfect companion. Remy has a knack for herding rambunctious children, making him a great addition to a family with older kids (think over 14). He may be a bit slow to warm up, but once he does, his love is endless. His gorgeous spots are a testament to his unique charm. Why should Remy be adopted? Additional adoption info

Spay/neuter + rabies is included in our adoption fee, but may not be completed by time of adoption due to our limited access to veterinary appointments. We have local partners listed in your adoption contract that you can schedule an appointment with (and are paid by us) or we will reimburse for up to $100 for non-network veterinarians. Microchip, up-to-date vaccinations, flea treatment and dewormer are included.

Go meet their pets

Our public hours are Tuesday - Saturday 11 am - 4pm. Dog meets may be also scheduled on Sunday and Monday by appointment only. No appointment is needed to meet our cats during public hours.
Please note that appointments are highly recommended for dog meets due to limited staff availability, but we do accommodate walk-in visits whenever possible. Additionally, many of our dogs may be located off-site in foster homes and an appointment will be required to meet those pets. We do require a completed application prior to meeting pets in foster homes to preserve the valuable time of our foster families.

More about this shelter

PAWS finds new families for stray dogs and cats as well as owner surrendered pets. We also accept animals brought to us by concerned citizens and local animal control agencies and do our best to find them suitable homes. Our mission is to find homes and offer direct care for as many of these loveable pets as possible. PAWS attempts to prevent the birth of unwanted animals through education and spay/neuter programs.

PAWS of Grays Harbor is a strictly non-profit organization and we survive because of donations from our community. All of the animals we adopt out are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped, and treated for fleas. Sometimes, the animals we rescue require additional veterinary care.
