Yang is a domestic shorthair white and black female who is 2 years old. She was found outdoors by a member of the community who had been feeding and looking after her. When her round belly began to grow and become ever more round, Yang was brought to the rescue. Yang gave birth to six kittens in her foster home on August 18th - Anya, Rosetta, Flynn, Terrence, Higgins, and Fiyero

Even though she's a mama, this smart and independent lady has a playful streak that will keep you entertained. She loves to chase toys, particularly wand toys and cat dancers. And yet her mellow nature ensures she's also a wonderful companion for quieter moments. Her non-stop purring is very soothing. Yang's curiousity will captivate you, as she loves to explore her surroundings. Motherhood has graced her with an even deeper sweetness, having nurtured six kittens with her endless purrs of love. Most of our cats live in foster homes. Some are available to meet at satellite locations such as Pet Valu and Ren's Depot. A few foster homes are available to meet and greets at their home, or we also do meet and greets at request at our shelter prior to adoption. Most of these results in same day adoptions, and only take place after an adoption interview.
