He is a sweet, intelligent puppy with an easygoing and affectionate personality. Here's why he's the perfect companion:
- Non-reactive: Unbothered by vacuums, cars, barking dogs, or kids-Bili is calm and composed.
- Gentle nature: No signs of toy, food, or person aggression; gets along with dogs of all sizes.
- Quick learner: Picking up on potty training fast and listens well to directions.
- Family-friendly: Great with kids and loves to snuggle and sleep next to his humans.
- Quiet and laid-back: Playful yet super chill; enjoys lounging in the sun.
- Sleeps well: Crates comfortably and sleeps through the night.
- Curious and teething: Needs supervision to avoid chewing on things he shouldn't.
- Sensitive to the dark: A bit fretful about going outside at night.
Billiken is a loving, curious, and well-mannered pup ready to fill your home with joy and companionship!
As a puppy, I am required to go to training within 90 days of my adoption with a certified trainer.

Adoption Donations are $275 for an adult, $375 for puppies (a dog under one year of age), and $175 for a senior dog (based on the age of the dog). More "sought out breeds may have a higher adoption donation) Adoption donations are to be made via cash, or credit/debit card. There is a $5 fee to run cards. We do not accept checks for adoption fees.
Please remember to bring a martingale collar and leash (non-retractable) with you the day of the adoption.
We typically have adoption events on Wednesdays 5-7pm, Fridays 6-8pm, and Saturdays 11am-3pm. Our adoption center is located at 3602 Lafayette Blvd. Fredericksburg, VA 22408. It's important that you keep an eye on your emails for any changes or updates during the adoption process.
Old Dominion Humane Society is a volunteer based organization. We are run completely by volunteers, who also have full time jobs and families, so we appreciate your patience. Currently, the average timeframe for a response to your application is 3 days.
Note: ODHS adopts within a 350 mile radius of Fredericksburg, Virginia. A $50 out of state fee applies.
