This helps Rescue Row with pet care costs.
This 13 lb, 1 1/2 year old West Highland Terrier was in rough shape when she joined the rescue, but she is finally helathy and ready to find her forever home! Although she still has hair that needs to grow back in, she does not require medication anymore, just time for the hair to completely grow back! Lexi is full of energy and loves to play with other dogs. She would do best in a home with another dog that likes to play. She can be shy around people when first meeting them, so she needs a patient adopter that will allow her time to come out of her shell. She is not fully potty trained, but only has a couple accidents here and there. If you are interested in adopting, please submit an application at www.rescuerowinc.org
*Please check your junk email folder if you do not receive a response from a Rescue Row member within 3 business days.
*You must live within an hour of the DFW Metroplex because we do trial adoptions and require a homecheck
*Our adoption fees are as follows paid by cash, a check made out to Rescue Row, Venmo: @Rescue-Row or at Zelle: info@rescuerowinc.org
Dogs 12 weeks-6 months old: $300 adoption fee
Dogs 7 months and older: $275 adoption fee
Rescue Row is a 501(c)3 (non-profit) all volunteer dog rescue organization serving the DFW Metroplex. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs in shelters, dogs in abusive or neglectful situations, and dogs surrendered by their owners because of difficult circumstances. We place dogs in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process, which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog into their homes and lives. Dogs in our care are spayed or neutered, microchipped, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and placed in nurturing foster homes while they await placement in their permanent homes. We assist dogs in distress without regard to age, breed or ease of placement. Dogs in the greatest need take priority. Finally, we strive to work with shelters and other rescue and humane organizations to develop a network of supporters and volunteers in order to create a better world for homeless dogs.
