My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dog Name: LAILA
Age: 1.5 years old

Gender: Female Weight: 6.5 kgs
Breed: Poodle miniature
Spayed/Neutered? yes Vaccinated? Yes Heartworm Negative? yes
Good with dogs? yes
Good with kids? yes
Good with cats? Haven t being around one
Has experience on a leash? Yes
Potty trained? Yes, she is clean in her area at the foster facility and will adjust quickly to new house rules.
Crate trained? no
Where does the dog stay when it is alone? Currently, Laila shares her space with other dogs as her foster home also cares for other rescues. While she doesn't have her own dedicated space, Laila is an independent dog who is comfortable being apart from the pack when he chooses.
Where does the dog sleep? Laila sleeps in her foster home, in a dog bed placed on the floor in a designated area.
Temperament/Personality: Laila is a playful dog who loves spending time with other dogs at her foster home. While she can be shy around strangers in her home, once she’s outside, she transforms into a social butterfly, spreading happiness wherever she goes. She’s the perfect blend of a cuddly potato and an active adventurer. Once Laila knows you’re hers and she’s yours, she loves following you around, adores belly rubs, and is always up for a cozy cuddle session on the couch. Laila gets along great with the other dogs in her foster home. She enjoys walks, playtime, and basking in the sun. With her sweet nature and love for life, Laila is sure to bring endless joy and companionship to your home. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving, and playful addition to your family, she’s the one!
What does the dog's ideal home look like? Laila would adapt well to any family, but she would do best in a home with older children who can earn her trust. She just needs a little time and space to warm up, but her noble nature will allow you to win her heart in no time!

What is the dog's rescue story? Laila was rescued from a poor area in Guadalajara by a kind- hearted woman who, unfortunately, couldn’t keep her. She reached out to us for help.
Laila is waiting in Mexico until a family is committed to fostering her or taking her on a trial. If you are interested, apply at www.northwestwagrescue.org her adoption fee is $550
