Sadie Mae is a really rare find in the rescue world. This beautiful young Aussie/Border Collie mix girl was found as a stray in Tennessee and is approximately 9 months old and weighing in at 50lbs. Sadie Mae has one of those personalities hat just draws you in to sit and get to know her. She loves to run and play but also likes following her human foster mom around and to chill by her side. Sadie Mae is a joy to be around because she just wants to make her human happy and to feel like she is important to Sadie Mae. This black beauty is loyal, intelligent, funny, playful and just an all around great dog. She may take a day or two to warm up to her new humans in the future, but after she does, she’ll love you forever. She needs space to run around and or several walks a day. Sadie Mae does have a little thing on her right rear foot where she only has 2 of her 5 paw pads left and a missing toe but no broken bones. We don’t really know what happened but we want to mention that for total transparency. She limps on it from time to time but the vet said she may do that forever, but no need to be alarmed or do any further vetting to it. Just part of life. Sadie Mae gets along great with kids and other dogs (not sure about cats). She’s learning to play with toys, learning to walk on a leash, and starting to respond to simple commands like “sit” “down” and “stay”. Potty training is coming along and she is almost there. Sadie loves car rides, toys and bones to chew on. She deserves a loving home that shows her as much love and she shows. Please contact Critter Cavalry Rescue if you are interested in this girl at ccrtennessee@gmail.com. Please mention where you live since she is in Nashville, TN and we also adopt to 11 northern states outside of Tennessee. We transport to the northeast.
PLEASE NOTE: Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted. Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site. The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive. Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.com
