Hi, I'm Black Beauty, also known as BB. My life has been quite the adventure. Once upon a time, I was a superhero in my own right, protecting my kittens from every danger. We were a tight-knit team, my kittens and I. But as they grew, they found their own families, leaving me at the Fosters home. I may not have my superpowers anymore, but my heart is still full of love to give. I am sweet, friendly, and love a good cuddle. I am smart, playful, and brave too. I have been through a lot, but I have never lost my gentle spirit. I am ready for my next adventure. Could it be with you? Adopt me, and lets create our own superhero story together. Since we make a lifetime commitment to any animal that comes into our program, we only adopt out animals to people in our area..

If you are interested in adopting a CAWS cat or dog, please fill out the online application at http://www.caws.org/application/, email adopt@caws.org or call 328-4731. For the most timely response applying online is recommended.

We respond as quickly as possible but as we are a volunteer based organization and do not have full time staff, we respond as quickly as possible.

CAWS does not have a conventional shelter facility - all CAWS animals waiting for adoption are in foster homes. The number of animals we can help find new homes for is closely linked to how many CAWS foster homes are available. CAWS volunteers bring cats and dogs to the PetSmart near 2100 South and 300 West in South Salt Lake on the third and fourth weekends of each month

We are also at the Sugarhouse PETCO (1165 Wilmington Ave) the first Saturday of each month.
