Meet Franzia, a 4.5-month-old female pit bull mix who is the definition of sweetness and resilience. Despite being born with a congenital defect that led to the removal of one of her eyes, this happy, cuddly puppy hasn’t let it slow her down one bit! Franzia’s spirit is as bright as ever, and her joyful personality shines in everything she does.
She is incredibly dog-friendly, getting along well with other pups, and her gentle nature makes her great with kids too! Franzia is curious but calm, so she’d probably be just fine in a home with cats as well. She loves to snuggle up for cuddle time and is always eager to be by your side, making her the perfect companion for anyone looking for a loving, loyal friend.
Franzia’s playful side comes out when she’s romping around with her toys, but she’s equally happy curling up for a nap after a fun day. With her big heart and gentle demeanor, she’s ready to fill a home with love, laughter, and endless puppy snuggles. The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them the All American MUTT. Our dogs are rescued from various situations (kill-shelters, owner surrenders, strays, etc). It is most likely that both their parents were strays and mixes of some sort.
If you are interested in this dog, you MUST submit an application. Sandy Paws Rescue does not a have a public shelter in Mass, so there is no building you can visit without an appointment. Our dogs live in private foster homes or boarding kennels down south until adopted, and foster care homes through out MV, Cape Cod and other parts of MA. A majority of our dogs are adopted/spoken for prior to transport and release from state mandated isolation.
