Toby IV is an owner surrender looking for a new home.

Hi My name is Toby IV ! I am a handsome 10-year-old flashy brindle gentleman that is an owner surrender due to my owners moving and unable to take me with them. I am a distinguished member of the rescue's Silver Heart program so be sure to ask about it because there are great perks for my adoptive family, in addition to adopting me! I am described as friendly, calm, and affectionate! It is said that I am dog friendly, but I am content in my own space and unbothered by other dogs. I live with a 4-year-old human kid and do well with kids. It was determined I do not like cats so I need a cat free home. I am house trained, crate trained, know basic commands, and at night I sleep on my bed in the living room. When the humans must be away, I am fine being left alone. When outside I have good behavior and do not dig or attempt to jump fences/gates. I do not care to play with toys now that I am older, but I enjoy bones! Some of my favorite things are riding in the car, going on walks, and getting attention from people! Additional adoption info

1. Fill out an Online Adoption Application

2.Your application will be reviewed and sent to a volunteer in your area. The volunteer will contact you to schedule a home visit within one week. There is a $25.00 fee for a volunteer to come to your house for a home visit. This fee is non-refundable, but will be applied to the adoption fee when the adoption is finalized.

3. After your home visit is complete and you are approved you can begin meeting dogs. The person who met with you during your home visit will assist you in this process.
