Hello, my name is Rutt! I am a 3 year old, German Shepherd/Great Pyrenees mix. I was brought to Animal Ark when my family was no longer able to take care of me. They described me as friendly and playful, with a protective side for the people I like. I love playing with tennis balls and being outside with my friends. I am cautious around cats, new dogs, and new people but, love to play once I`m comfortable. I like to think I`m a lap dog even if I do weigh 102 pounds. I have experience with young children and am said to be playful with them!

Submit Application

You are welcome to fill out the application online at https://animalarkmn.org/adopt/ or in person at the Animal Ark (2600 Industrial Court).

Meet the Pet

Please call ahead to make sure that the pet you are interested in is at the Ark and someone is available to show you the pet.

Approve Application

Home Check

For Cats we do a virtual home visit once the application is approved. For Dogs we do an in person home visit after we do a meet and greet.

5.
Take the Pet Home

Once a home visit is done and approved, we will set up a day and time for you to sign a contract and take the pet home!

Additional adoption info

We do not do same day adoptions.

Adoption Fees:
• Dogs and puppies: $200-$800
• Adult Cats: $180
• Kittens: $225
• Senior Cats: $125
