Meet Koa, the lovable two-year-old Terrier mix weighing in at 34 pounds. Koa has a wonderful personality and gets along great with other dogs. Koa would make a wonderful family dog and is very affectionate! He's neutered, microchipped, and up to date on his vaccines. Koa is eagerly waiting for his forever home, could it be with you?

The mission of the Raise the Bar-N Foundation is to rescue, care for, and provide compassion to abused and neglected animals, educate the community about responsible pet ownership, and provide opportunities to children and adults with disabilities. We strive to give the voiceless a voice.

My husband and I have been rescuing for years. We also do a great deal with the autism/special needs community. We are hoping to save more animals and help build bonds between animals and children with disabilities. My husband is a firefighter and ex-professional hockey player. I am an expert working with children with disabilities, especially autism. I am passionate about giving the voiceless a "voice".
