My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Zuke is all set for his forever home! This 2-year-old Dutch Shepherd and Belgian Malinois mix is not only sweet, smart, and high-energy-he's also fully prepared for adoption. Neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccines and preventatives, Zuke is ready to jump into an active, loving family's life.

Zuke's perfect day includes lots of playtime, especially fetch, and being around people and other dogs. He's housebroken, crate-trained, and gets along great with kids, though he does have some prey drive. If you're looking for a loyal, fun-loving companion with a passion for toys and outdoor adventures, Zuke's the one for you! Go ahead and submit an adoption application for him now!

Basics. 2 yrs old, male, neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines and preventions.

Additional adoption info

Adoption application required. Adoption fees with transport included start at $400 higher prices for Purebred and/or highly desirable pets. Adoption application, adoption contract, return/foster agreement if dog doesn't work out in home.

We work hard to place dogs in the right homes, if the adoption does not work out and we have room to take the dog back into the rescue, we will. However, the sheer number of needy animals in TX usually means we become full quickly after the dog is adopted. So, in those cases we will post the animal, help the adopter screen applicants and help facilitate finding another home for the dog.

Go meet their pets

We are a TEXAS based rescue who transport regularly to this area. Our dogs are in TEXAS and will be transported to you if you adopt from us.

Our pets are posted on our website, and most live in homes with their fosters. We live with our foster dogs to get to know them in a home setting and to let them know that life can be good away from the streets.

We work to correct poor behaviors, teach manners and observe each dogs particular quirks and personalities so we can give accurate observations of the dogs you are interested in.

We know that dogs will sometimes behave differently with different people but we can give you our impressions of our pups and situations they have been in.
