Estimated Breed: Corgi MIX
Approximate Age: 6 years
Approximate Weight: 15 lbs
Currently Living at: Boarding
Adoption Fee: $400
DOG'S DESCRIPTION: Hello there, I'm Sandy! Now that I've been rescued by K-9 Lifesavers, I'm ready to start my new life in a loving forever home. I enjoy adventure and despite my more mature age, I still have a lot of youthful energy and I take every opportunity to explore and play. I'm a friendly soul, always eager to meet everyone, whether they're two-legged or four-legged, and my nice small size makes me the perfect fit for most any home. Adopting me would mean gaining a loyal friend, a playful companion, and a loving family member. I promise to bring joy, love, and laughter into your life. So, why wait? Fill out an application today and let's start our wonderful journey together!
Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.
Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.
Foster Program: Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home. For more information on becoming a foster parent, and our Foster Program, visit http://www.k-9lifesavers.org/foster/ or email our Foster Coordinator at foster@k-9lifesavers.org
