Meet Chrissy!

This adorable kitty has been a total delight!

Chrissy came in from a hoarding case pregnant. She gave birth and raised 2 adorable little boys! 1 of which has already found their forever home!

Chrissy is pretty laid back and loves nice cozy beds, she most likely has never had one of her own! She's looking for a friendly family to welcome her in and give her the love she always deserved.

We are the only shelter in Cedar County, Iowa. We take in homeless dogs and cats and help them to find carefully screened, lifelong, and nurturing homes. FOA serves Cedar County, Iowa.

When you adopt, you’re not just giving a deserving dog or cat a home. You’re also reducing the demand for puppy mills and other industrial-scale breeding operations that put profits before animal welfare. Homeless, scared, abused, neglected or surrendered, whatever the circumstance may be, our goal is to give all animals the chance to feel loved, wanted and special. After all, their souls are pure, and they deserve only the best from us.
