My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Candy Corn - The Sweetest Treat You'll Ever Meet!

Looking for a little Halloween magic to add to your home? Candy Corn is here to sweeten your day! This adorable puggle mix might be a tiny bit shy at first (kind of like spotting a ghost-blink and you'll miss it), but once she gets comfortable, she'll be the best companion since pumpkin spice lattes.

Candy Corn does great with other dogs, so if you have a spooky squad at home, she'll fit right in! Give her a cozy spot, and in no time, she'll be haunting your heart in the best way possible-no tricks, all treats!

Ready to have the cutest, sweetest addition to your Halloween crew? Come meet Candy Corn today before she disappears like a puff of Halloween fog!

More about this rescue

A New Leash on Life has a goal of saving all the adoptable pets about to die in the municipal shelters of Alabama until we become a NO KILL state. We rescue, provide veterinary care, provide a foster home or adoption center spot, and find adopters who are good matches for homeless dogs and cats...AND horses, pigs, rabbits, and any other animal who needs our help. All animals are fully vetted, including spay/neuter, microchip, vaccines, testing (HW for dogs, FIV/Felv for cats), and whatever else they need before adoption.
