Meet Adam!

Adam is an adorable kitten who is always ready for a good time! He loves playing with other kitties here at the shelter, and also can be found in cuddle piles when it’s naptime! He loves a big squishy bed and canned cat food.

Adam’s favorite toys are the “kicker” toys he can hold on to with his front paws and kick with his back feet. When his kennel is getting cleaned, he loves to run around staff’s feet and make sure they don’t forget about him!

Adam is neutered, microchipped, up to date on his vaccinations, and tested negative for Feline Leukemia and FIV.

We welcome interested adopters to visit with various adoptable pets 10am - 4pm Tuesday through Saturday at 3881 S Tripp Rd, Osseo, MI. No appointment is necessary.

Please allow at least an hour for the adoption process.

There are exceptions, but typically adoptions are the same day.

We know our pet photos are adorable, but it's best to select your companion based on their personality and compatibility with your family and lifestyle. It is important to that you bring any children with you to meet potential pets. We also recommend that all family members be present for an adoption. Spending quality time with any potential pet is key. This will help ensure that your potential pet is the best possible fit for everyone in the family. We welcome all adopters, from any county or state.

We prefer if you complete an application prior to meeting the animals so we can help you make a great match.

This is accomplished through education, quality and compassionate care of the animals received at the shelter, and community outreach. GHHS obtains funding through donations, fees for services, and fundraisers.
