Hello, I’m Luna, a gentle and loving pitbull terrier looking for a peaceful forever home. My last family had to say goodbye, so now I’m hoping to find someone who appreciates the quiet joys in life as much as I do. I’m not one for racing around; I prefer a calm, leisurely walk where I can take in all the scents and scenery. I’m also very polite on a leash and enjoy just being by your side. If you’re looking for a devoted companion who’s all about cozy cuddles and soft companionship, I’m your girl.

The process is quite simple! Please stop by and see for yourself. All animals are spayed/neutered, dewormed, vaccinated, and microchipped prior to going home.

More about this shelter

We are a non-profit open intake shelter that serves all of East Baton Rouge parish. We strive to improve the lives of abandoned, unwanted and abused animals in our parish. We house approximately 400 animals at any given time. We take in 20-30 new animals a day. We are always in need of fosters both short and long term, donations, and volunteers.
