Jeff is a handsome little sweetheart! At just 3 months old, he was brought into a local shelter as a stray with a bad kitty cold and suspected leg fracture. Now that he is all healed and recovered, he is ready to make one family very happy!
He is an entertainer and LOVES to play and explore. He has also done well living with an adult male cat, and has been patient while the other cat warms up to Jeff's playfulness.
Once he's ready for a nap, he becomes extremely cuddly and affectionate. Jeff really is the full package!
ADOPTION FEES
Altered kitten - $150
Pair of altered kittens - $220
Cat 6 months or older - $75
Adoption fees cover the cost of care and veterinary services.
All adoptable cats have received:
Spay/neuter surgery if over 2lbs
Distemper vaccine
Rabies vaccine (if over 16 weeks old)
De-wormer and flea prevention medication
Veterinary exam
Test for FIV and FeLV
Microchip
ADOPTION PROCESS
1. Review our adoption contract and application.
2. Call your vet and references to inform them that a rescue representative will be calling.
3. Submit an application, including the cat's name that you are interested in or description of what you are looking for.
4. You will be notified of the outcome of your application within 1-3 days.
5. If approved, you will be introduced to the foster to schedule a meeting within 5 days. Guidelines for the meeting are:
- Bring a carrier and be prepared to take the animal home directly from the meeting.
- Please be prepared to submit the adoption fee via electronic payment at the meeting.
- If all goes well, the cat will go home with you directly after the meeting. If you are not ready to adopt at the conclusion of the meeting, please understand that we may process other applications for the cat. Because we have a limited number of foster homes, we cannot hold cats past adoption.

OUR SPAY AND NEUTER POLICY
The Hero Rescue charges a $100.00 spay/neuter deposit with every unaltered puppy that is adopted. The purpose of the deposit is to ensure the puppy will be altered before she/he reaches 6 months of age. This $100 deposit is refundable if adopter provides proof of sterilization within 14 days of the procedure. After the adoption is completed, all vetting (spay/neuter, boosters, heart worm and flea prevention) are the responsibility of the adopter. This deposit will not be returned if the animal is not spayed/ neutered within the established timeline.

Puppies up to Six Months Old- $400 plus a refundable $100 Spay/Neuter Deposit ($500 total due at adoption)
Dogs Six Months and Up - $300
