Meet Indie. She is a sweet, friendly Cocker Spaniel mix about 5 years old. Our vet thinks she is possibly a Cocker/Shih Tzu. She was found here in NC as an abandoned stray by a Good Samaritan who took her home and contacted rescue. All vetting must be completed before this dog can find a new home.
At her first vet visit, she was given a Capstar, updated on shots, wormed and her ear infection was treated. She was just spayed, had a dental and her cherry eye was fixed. She is on dry eye medication but it's not real expensive. We sent her to the groomer where she did not do well. This said, she will need a kind, patient groomer after she is done with all vetting and can find a forever home. She will need house training, is an escape artist and will need a securely fenced yard. She can be with older teen kids, is strong on a leash and can be stubborn at times. Due to an unknown past, we feel that she should be your only dog.
Her adoption fee is $400 after all vetting is completed.
