Meet Chris, a 4-month-old black lab mix who’s the perfect blend of playful energy and sweet affection! Chris’s journey began when he and his 7 siblings were found as strays at just 7 weeks old, alongside their brave mama who had dug a hole in the side of a hill to keep her pups safe.

Now thriving in his foster home, Chris is a happy, excited, and smart little pup who absolutely adores people. He loves making new friends, both human and canine, and gets along wonderfully with other dogs. Whether he's playing outside or snuggling up for some quiet time, Chris is always eager to share his love and enthusiasm with those around him.

Our dogs are transported to a predetermined location agreed upon by the rescue. The adoption contract and fee are finalized prior to transport. As a Pep's Pals Rescue direct adoption, the adoption interview/meet and greet occurs on video call (Skype, FB Messenger call, Facetime, etc).

Our adoption fee is $400 plus transport (varies by location). A transport fee is not necessary if adopter is able to pick up Chris. This adoption fee includes all current vaccinations, deworming, microchip (additional $12.99 registration fee required at time of adoption), fecal analysis, spay/neuter, and a heartworm test if over 6 months old. All dogs are current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention.

After an applicant has been screened, we conduct a home visit, vet reference check and personal reference checks. If the applicant is approved, we schedule a meet and greet.
