My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Dread Pirate Roberts, the cautious observer with a soft heart! This thoughtful kitten prefers to watch the world from the safety of a high perch or a quiet corner, taking in all the action before deciding if it's safe to join. Though slow to warm up, Dread Pirate Roberts has a playful side waiting to emerge—just tempt him with his favorite mouse toy or a dangle toy, and he might even come out of hiding for a delicious Churu treat!

Once he feels secure, he loves gentle pets and scritches, rewarding you with a powerful purr that lets you know he’s happy. His incredibly soft fur makes petting him an absolute pleasure. Though it may take him some time to fully adjust, his potential as a future love bug is undeniable.

Dread Pirate Roberts is always watching his brother Westley, learning from his bravery and slowly realizing that maybe the world isn’t so scary after all. He often waits for Westley to be the first to try new foods—except when it comes to Churus, which need no testing! When it’s just him and Westley, though, his playful nature shines. The brothers stage grand pirate battles, steal toys, and chase each other around until it’s time to curl up and rest together.

Dread Pirate Roberts is looking for a patient, loving home where he can continue to build his confidence, with his loyal brother by his side. Could that be you?

Prior to adoption, all kittens are spayed/neutered, tested for FIV/FELV, vaccinated and microchipped. Kittens under 5 months old must be adopted with a buddy or into a house where there's a kitten-friendly pet.

This kitten is currently in a foster home. To meet this kitten, please fill out an adoption application so that we'll have your contact information, and we'll get back to you as soon as possible. www.thedancingcat.org/adopt
