My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there, my name is Bella, and I’m a purebred Goldendoodle with amber eyes, about 8 months old, 41 lbs, and I was born on 2/17/24. I was purchased with my brother Teddy (different litters, same sire) from a Houston Texas Breeder specializing in red-coated golden doodles at 3 months of age with the plan to breed us for profit. Thankfully, he was too busy for that plan, leaving us behind with relatives who surrendered us to 4 Little Paws. We are now living in a foster home and having some fun instead of living in crates, and now fully vaccinated, spayed and neutered, microchipped, and ready to find loving forever homes!

I am a happy friendly girl with gobs of playful energy and friendly with all humans. I play well with other dogs and love doggy toys and my favorite currently is a Himalayan chew! I am very affectionate, love my people, love kisses and pets, and spending some time learning basic training commands with my foster mom. She says I’m extremely smart, learn everything quickly, and I have so much love to give! I am learning how to sit patiently for snacks and give a paw. I am working on some leash-walking skills and doing well. I’m housebroken and know how to use a doggy door, and I am crate trained, although I would rather be free and spend some quality time with my doggy friends and human pack. My future looks bright, and I am so looking forward to joining a wonderful family anywhere on the East Coast! Inquire about me today and bring me home!

* 4 Little Paws is based in CT. We adopt in many different states along the East Coast. Transport costs are included in the adoption fee. If you are located outside the states we typically adopt to, we have options to get the dog of your dreams to your location.

Additional adoption info

Please DO NOT apply unless the entire family / household is on board with adopting one of our dogs. We must receive an application for you to move forward in the process. Thoughtful direct emails are welcome and will be answered. However, an application is still a necessary step. We want to make sure we find our dogs a perfect fit with a family so both the dog and the family are happy. We keep our dogs with fosters once we get them out of shelters for a little bit to learn and understand their personalities. Our relationship with families doesn't stop at adoption! We are always available for any follow up questions and are happy to be a resource as you and your new pet settle into a routine.
