My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Approximate Date of Birth:1/19/2018

Description:

: Jade is a sweet and reserved cat who loves to be pet, and she warms up when given a calm and loving environment.

She has a high-pitched meow that is heart breaking with how cute it is, and an adorable white star mark on her forehead. She wants to be the boss and is good communicating what she wants with humans.

She can do well with calm adult cats that relax and don't harass her like her brother Cosmo.

Jade needs a calm safe environment where she can wander around, and she enjoys staring out the window and seeing when her humans come home.

Words to Describe Me: Quiet, loving, sensitive, and friendly.

Favorite Place to Sleep: In the closet on a shelf with a blanket, or on the bed.

Favorite Toy: Uncertain

Perfect Day: A quiet day with plenty of time to stare out the window, eat a bowl of wet food at dinner and cuddle with my owner on their bed.

Kitty's Likes: Head pets

Kitty's Dislikes: Be picked up

Fastest Way to Get Me to Purr: Pet my head

Favorite Treat: Wet food.

Additional adoption info

We will adopt to out of state adopters but we do NOT ship animals under any conditions. You must come to us in person to meet the animal and make sure it is a mutual match. We have had many adopters come from the states around us and drive or fly with their new family member back.

Some of our "ready to adopt" felines are located at one of our Arizona PetSmart locations. https://www.savingonelife.org/adopt/locations/

We also have a small satellite operation in San Diego with adoption events on select Saturdays at the PetSmart Escondido store.

We highly recommend applying in advance in order to increase your opportunity at adopting the kitty you are interested in. Applications are processed in the order they were received. If you have questions, please email adoptions@savingonelife.org.

More about this rescue

Saving One Life is a completely foster based, volunteer run, never kill rescue. Our motto is that although we can't save the world, it makes a world of difference to the ones we do save.

If you find a litter of kittens or your cat accidentally got pregnant - please contact us if you are able to foster them at intake@savingonelife.org. We cannot take in more animals without foster homes. All supplies and vet care will be taken care of - all you have to do is open your home and heart to them until they can find homes of their own!

All of our adoptable animals are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, tested for felv/fiv (Cats), dewormed, and microchipped. Adoption fees range depending on the animal's age and breed. All adoption fees assist other animals in our care - we do not have any paid employees. We are a completely never kill group that provides sanctuary to any "unadoptable" animals that come into our care including hospice care.
