These beautiful girls (Dory & Mary) were brought to HSOV on September 12, 2024 after losing their home for a very sad reason .. Their beloved mistress had passed away the preceding day, and they suddenly became homeless.
Dory & Mary are lovely Dilute Tortoiseshell kitties who are approximately 7 years old. They were naturally a bit bewildered when they found themselves in a small cage since they had been accustomed to the freedom of their own home (and being spoiled 24/7).
Within a week or so, Dory & Mary's sweet affectionate personalities emerged after they realized that they were with their new best friends (our compassionate HSOV Kennel Techs) who already loved them.
Dory & Mary are a very bonded pair, and they need to find another loving home together. Both girls are super friendly and adore attention (and each other).
Dory has been spayed and combo tested. She weighs 7.5 lbs.
Mary was spayed on October 22, 2024 and was also given rabies vaccine. She weighed 7.6 lbs that day.
These girls are nearly identical twins except that Mary has cream/beige shading on her cute chubby muzzle. Dory & Mary would love to share your home and become your new best friends.
Dory & Mary are currently sharing a double-wide cage in our Jungle Room and are always snuggled up as close to each other as possible. They would love to find another loving home together either through adoption or rescue.
Rescue groups may contact our HSOV Feline Rescue Coordinator via email (sharonpaul2@suddenlink.net). We can usually help with transportation.
