Hey there, I’m Albany—a gentle giant (Great Pyrenees/St. Bernard Mix) with a heart just as big as I am! At just three years old, I`ve escaped the euthanasia list at the local shelter, kicked cancer`s butt and I`m ready to live life to the fullest! I’ve mastered the art of being easygoing. I love spending time outside, whether it’s wandering around the yard, taking a stroll, or just soaking up the fresh air. I’ve got an adventurous spirit, but I’m never in a hurry—I like to take my time and enjoy the little things.
Despite my size, I’m as calm as they come, so I am great with kids. I’m not much of a barker, and I have a laid-back personality that makes me the perfect relaxed companion. I am also completely house and crate trained. Whether we’re exploring together or just hanging out, I’ll always be by your side, taking life one peaceful step at a time. If you’re looking for a big, lovable friend with a chill attitude, I`m your guy!
To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt. It doesn`t obligate you, but it is the first step. We don`t get to all of the inquires but respond to all applications. Thank you for choosing to rescue!
