Here's what the humans have to say about me:

A22848 Mojo is a white colored, approximately 9-month-old, 44-pound, neutered male, Siberian Husky.
He entered the shelter as an owner surrender, with his sister Koal, on 10-14-2024 due to the fact they were moving and couldn't bring dogs.
Mojo is a friendly, shy boy here at the shelter. Our staff says he is very sweet, and likes affection, but is still trying to figure out the shelter environment. He was easy to leash and well behaved during our walks, pulling a little to go check things out. He came in with Koal and they are affectionate with each other, but we feel their bond isn't so strong that they can't be adopted separately. He shows no interest in other dogs here. They have had some training and will "sit upon command. Mojo will be a fun-loving family member n in his new forever home.

Meet and greets with your family dog and shelter dog is encouraged. Dog and cat meet and greets are not allowed.

$80 for all kitten/cat adoptions. $90 for all puppy/dog adoptions. $35 for all rabbit adoptions.

Additional adoption info

The shelter is open to the public Monday through Saturday from 9:00am to 5:00pm, with adoptions closing at 4:30pm. The shelter is closed on Sundays and all government observed holidays.

City of Henderson Animal Care and Control is the only open admission animal shelter in the City of Henderson. We service the City of Henderson and the residents and animals within city limits. Our goal is to find forever homes for all adoptable animals and reunite pets with their people. We work with multiple rescue groups and allow any good adoptee to adopt from our shelter.
