A22847 Koal is a brown and white colored, approximately 9-month-old, 34- pound, spayed female, Siberian Husky.
She entered the shelter as an owner surrender, with her brother Mojo, on 10-14-2024 due to the fact they were moving and couldn't bring dogs.
Koal is a friendly, but shy girl here in the shelter. Our staff says she is very sweet and loves affection. Saying she is scared in this shelter environment. She has had some training and will "sit upon command. She was easy to leash and well behaved during our walks. The previous owner did say she keeps escaping her harness, but it was on incorrectly and we had no issues with just a lead rope. She has no interest in other dogs here at the shelter. Although she came in with Mojo and they do great together, but we feel their bond isn't so strong that they can't be adopted separately. Koal just needs an owner who will work on her confidence. Koal will be a loving, loyal companion in her new forever home.
