Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Mr. Dash, affectionately known as Dash or Dashy! This resilient boy has been through a lot but is now ready to settle down into the life of comfort and love he truly deserves. Born in a hoarding house in Minneapolis, Dash made a daring escape one day, sprinting across the street to what he thought was his forever home. Unfortunately, while things went well for a time, his new family became too busy for him, and in an act of neglect, they left him outside in the summer heat with no food or water. Dash had to fend for himself, scrounging for scraps, until a concerned human reached out to help.
After thinking he'd found his people once again, Dash's adventures weren't over. Not neutered yet, his wanderlust got the best of him, and he slipped through a broken screen at his foster home to explore the wild once more. For two long weeks, he was missing, and his foster feared the worst. But then, over a mile away, Dash was found-thinner, tired, but so grateful to be rescued. Now, he's ready to leave the fast-paced life behind and enjoy the relaxed, loving life of a lap cat.
Mr. Dash is the sweetest little lover you'll ever meet. He absolutely adores lounging on your lap, nuzzling into the crook of your arm, and purring contentedly. He'll never let you visit the bathroom alone, as that's his favorite job-being your loyal bathroom buddy. He even enjoys being picked up and held, something not all cats appreciate, and his foster mom is teaching him the trick of putting his front paws on her when she says "up." He's learning to play and may be a little wary of wand toys at first, but is quickly warming up to the fun of the chase. He also enjoys a good catnip session, indulging in moments of bliss.
While Dash is a total lovebug with humans, he isn't a fan of other cats and would need to be the one and only in your home. But with the amount of affection and companionship he offers, you won't need another feline friend. He's ready to shower his forever family with endless love, and after all he's been through, he truly deserves the best! Mr. Dash would do best in a quieter home as he is a little skittish of the unknown, despite his daring past. He also appreciates it when wet food is incorporated into his diet since he never learned to drink water much.
Mr. Dash is fixed, microchipped, FIV/FeLv negative, and up to date on vaccinations for his age.

Twin Cities Pet Rescue (TCPR) is a small, 501c3 nonprofit, companion animal rescue organization. TCPR does not have a facility and is 100% foster-based. TCPR rescues dogs, cats and small animals of all breeds; rescuing them from city impounds, puppy mills, and other situations of abuse and neglect. Once rescued, all animals receive veterinary care ranging from spay/neuter, vaccines, microchips, and basic testing to specialty eye surgeries, pet dermatology care, and various other specialty treatments. Once an animal is rescued by TCPR, it remains in a foster home until adopted, no matter how long that might take.
TCPR often rescues animals that are considered “less adoptable” by other rescue organizations, as they are often the ones overlooked and truly left behind; and in need of the most help. These animals might be overlooked due to their age, health status, special needs or breed. TCPR works to help as many animals in need find their furever families as we can, especially helping those animals that need help most.
