The Disney Sidekick puppies are a litter of 10 week old Golden Retriever x Husky mixes ready to bring magic to their forever homes! These puppies were found in a yard in Anaheim at only 6 weeks old by a good sumaritan. They reached out for assistance and we agreed to help find these cuties forever homes! This litter is a perfect set: 2 boys and 2 girls, each more magical than the last! We expect them to be in the 50-60 pound range as adults as they are already magically growing every day! If you’ve always wanted a magical little buddy of your own, adopt an adorable Disney Sidekick today!

Flounder (F): Flounder is ready to swim her way into your arms and never let you go on another adventure alone again! Flounder is super energetic and playful, initiating non-stop play sessions with her siblings. She loves exploring the outdoors and would be a fabulous adventure companion. Flounder is super smart and food motivated. She discovered treats and hasn’t looked back, unless she sees a treat behind her and then she’s on the move! She loves people and soaks up all the cuddles and kisses the world has to offer her. With her solo striking blue eye, she will surely turn heads wherever you go! Flounder would be at her happiest with an active family, as she would love to explore the big wide world with her new people. She loves water as well, like any good fishy friend should and we can totally see a little mermaid in your future! Flounder is always ready for a good cuddle at the end of an adventure and will be your most loyal friend in the world. Come make our girl Flounder a ‘part of your world’ today!

Jiminy Cricket (M): Jiminy wished upon a star and he can’t wait to meet you so his dreams can come true! Jiminy is the most outgoing of his litter and he loves people! He’s always ready to snuggle into your arms and shower you in kisses. The closer to you he can be, the happier he is! Jiminy is a little less energizer bunny than some of his siblings, but this dude loves to zoom around the yard and show off his adorable prance. He wins over everyone he meets with his kind heart and sweet temperament, just like the greatest Golden Retrievers in history. Plus, with his unique curly little tail, he will turn heads wherever he prances. Jiminy greets every day with a huge smile on his face and nothing can stop him from living the happiest life ever. There’s no adventure he can’t tackle and no lap he can’t make himself a home in. Once you ‘give a little whistle’ and see him bouncing towards you, you’ll have a pal for life!

Olaf (M): Olaf was created to be the perfect snowman just for his forever family! Olaf has been the goofiest boy since day one and is super cuddly and loving. He’s consistently the bottom of the puppy pile and he’s so easy-going it doesn’t bother him in the slightest! He’s a faithful and loyal dog who has a calmness that makes him wise beyond his age. He is down to play but prefers lounging on a lap or in the cool grass. Olaf loves water and will melt into a happy puppy puddle if you give him a little kiddie pool of his very own. Olaf would love a home ready to take him on daring adventures where he can make memories. As long as he can take on the world by your side, he’s ready for it all! Olaf is super smart and food motivated so training will be a blast with him. In fact, he’s so food motivated he figured out how to head butt the puppy pen closer to the food like a total genius! Whether ‘in summer’, spring, fall, or winter, Olaf promises to be the best puppy you’ll ever meet!

Tinkerbell (F): Tinkerbell is fluttering her wings and getting her pixie dust supply ready to make her family soar! Tink may be the smallest of her siblings but she leads the way during playtime and adventures! Tink loves attention from her humans and is always ready to roll on her belly for nonstop cuddles and kisses. She is the best of both worlds. Ready to hit the trails and tackle the unknown but also ready to curl up on the couch after a long day and watch a movie with her people. Tink would love a family with room for her to show off her zoomies as she prances after her toys (or a falling leaf). She loves exploring and can’t wait to map out the world outside her pen. Tink has the best pair of puppy dog eyes we’ve ever seen and it’s impossible to resist her when she lays a paw on your chest and gets ready for a nap. Fly past the ‘second star to the right’ and head straight to Tinkerbell!

The Sidekick puppies wake up around 6 AM and charge right outside to practice going potty outside. They come inside for breakfast and then pile together in their pen for a morning nap. Their feeding schedule is: 7 AM, 1 PM, and 7 PM. Lots of treats in between meals of course! Like any puppy, they cycle between playing, eating, napping, and cuddling for most of the day. They love spending time outdoors exploring their yard and all the new smells it has in store. In the evening, they have some more playtime followed by one-on-one cuddle time. Once they expend all their energy, they go out for one last potty and then go into their pen for the night to sleep.

The Sidekick puppies have been well socialized with dogs and love playtime! They would be fabulous as an addition to a home with a resident dog or as a solo pup. Interested homes should be prepared to continue their training and socialization to ensure they are well-behaved adult pups. They’re all super smart so training will be a blast! Ready for the start of your very own “happily ever after”? Come meet your new Disney Sidekick and you’ll have your storybook ending!

The Sidekick puppies are only an option for homes who have owned a dog of their own in the last 5 years. No family dogs, roommates dogs, or dog sitting. Kids should be over the age of 7.

More about this rescue

We are passionate folks who love dogs and love people! We strive to make the most appropriate match between human and canine. Because our dogs live in foster homes we know about their temperament and personality and therefore can help families and individuals decide if the dog is a good match or not. We are excited to help people find the right pooch for them and look forward to meeting great folks and welcoming them into the DPS Family.
