Say cheese for Colby, the 3-year-old Lab mix who’s as lovable and classic as Colby Jack itself! Just like the cheese, she`s the perfect blend—equal parts mellow and sharp, with a dash of outdoor enthusiasm. Colby absolutely loves being outside, whether she`s soaking up the sunshine or joining you for a little slice of adventure. She knows how to `sit` on command (especially if there’s a cheesy treat involved) and gets along great with our office cat, making her the ultimate combination of good taste and good company. If you’re looking for a dog who’s the perfect mix, Colby’s the real deal! Her adoption fee is $52.00 that includes a microchip, vaccine, 2024 Holmes county license, leash and collar!

We are a county operated facility and agency. We receive our funding through dog license sales. We are responsible for picking up strays in our county. Many of these strays later go up for adoption and become our responsibility to rehome. We also take owner surrrenders and attempt to rehome them.
