Breaks my heart but my husband and I are looking to rehome our sweet, well-trained and healthy blue heeler (Aussie cattle dog). We now have a 2-year old and it's been hard giving enough attention to both, plus we travel a lot due to our families being elsewhere.
- Basics: Umby is 5.5 years old, 39lbs, was adopted from a shelter in Texas, and is very sweet and well-trained (knows a lot of tricks!). She's very low maintenance (acts more like a cat), runs well off-leash (due to some mild separation anxiety). Loves cuddling. Her right eye is damaged (we adopted her like that) but doesn't stop her from chasing squirrels!
- Vaccinations: up to date on all, I'll pass along records.
- Crate training: Sleeps in her crate, but prefers to roam around the house daytime.
- Tolerances: tolerates other dogs (but won't play with them), does well with kids.
- Our location: Knoxville, TN. Willing to drive a 2 hour radius for dropoff. We do request a video call to interview potential families.
