Meet sweet but very playful 3.5 year old Boris!!! Sadly, Boris was an owner surrender to our rescue due to his owners separating. The husband kept him along with the other dogs for a year after the divorce but his health declined leading him to an assist living situation where he could not bring his dogs. Boris is a lovable boy but he is a BIG boy. He is about 140 lbs and strong. He loves to play tug-a-war with the leash and he thinks its funny to walk himself. We are working of this as he loves to go for walks. He is great with other dogs! However he does not like dominant male dogs - he thinks everyone wants to play with him!!!! He is truly all Puppy still!
We want Boris to find a loving home with a fenced yard and time to be able to share with him. He definitely deserves the extra attention! He is good with other dogs so I think he could be adopted with another dog absolutely. We honestly think he would do better in a home with another playful dog to help him burn some of his energy. He is a sweet heart!
We think he's fine with dogs and not sure about the cat part. We are confirming all that and will update the post. Also, confirming he is good with children as well.
We know that Saint Bernard's are such a unique breed however we do want someone who is familiar with the breed. They are large, they eat a lot, they love to drool and shake and they have a lot of hair. In his pictures, we recently had him shaved. When he came to us, he had some mats and the weather has been so hot, it just made sense to shave him. He loves his cut!!!!
Boris is neutered, up to date on all his shots and just patiently waiting for a home to call his own.
