Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
My names Angela. I came in as a stray. I’m 3 years old and 42 pounds. I was emaciated and had some weight to gain before I became available for adoption. Someone found me and held me for three days and then called the shelter to pick me up. When I was first picked up by the officer, I was so thirsty and dehydrated that I was dragging him to water puddles outside to get a drink. The shelter staff has not witnessed any resource guarding of food and water around people or other animals, but wants to bring awareness to my condition when I entered the shelter. I am still learning that food and water is an available resource. I would benefit from my adopter using a slow feeder bowl.
I love cuddles. I lay on the floor and love to just chew on bones, tennis balls and bark box toys. I know how to keep myself busy, but I do enjoy your company. I’m doing good with potty training. I have been in a few play groups at the shelter and have done well with other dogs. I walk well on a leash, and I know how to sit. I am working on other basic commands. I have been around dogs as small as 10 pounds. I will absolutely curl up in a ball in your lap and love every second of it. I am the happiest girl now and want nothing more than to be loved and by your side. I’m just a little house hippo searching for my forever home.
