I’m Jimmy and I am 1 year and 64 pounds. I was a stray, and the officer made a memo when he picked me up that said, “picked up a very friendly dog.” I was picked up at a factory and the staff members said I had been running loose for awhile. I wanted my owner to come back for me but no one ever came to get me. I looked good and hopped in the passenger side of the animal control truck back to the shelter, unsure of my future. I’m a good looking boy! I walk well on a leash but I can pull a little bit, because I am strong, but follow your directions well. I am a very smart dog. I know all of my basic commands: sit, stay, shake and roll over. Someone worked with me. I love to get belly rubs and roll over for you. I am a happy, happy boy. I am fully potty trained and I haven’t had any accidents in my kennel. I would love to find a home!

All dogs are spayed or neutered, and microchipped before going home. They have basic vaccinations and are heartworm tested. They are current on heartworm and flea/tick preventatives. Applications are good for one year. If you do not have a specific dog in mind, please apply and we can find the right fit for you! The shelter has to have an approved application in order to schedule a meet n greet!
