Hi there! I’m Tuffy, a resilient 9-month-old Mini Poodle with a whole lot of love to give. I’ve been through a tough time after a big dog attack resulting in surgery where I lost my spleen and some of my intestines, but I am healing well and ready for my forever home! I get along great with people, kids, dogs, and even cats! Sometimes I can be a little skittish because of my past, but I warm up quickly with gentle love and care.

I’m happiest when I’m close to my person—I just love being by your side! That said, I can get a bit protective when I’m sitting on your lap and may bark or guard you. I’m working on it, and with your help, I know I’ll get even better!

When I’m not snuggling, I’m all about belly rubs, tasty treats, and just enjoying life. If you’re looking for a loyal, sweet companion, I can’t wait to meet you and be your best friend!
