Take the Pet Home
Hudson came to AFH from one of our rescue partners. They were called by a Sheriff's Department in Florida to assist with a hoarding case involving '50 to 100' Chihuahuas. When they arrived, there were over 200! They were all living in a filthy mobile home surrounded by trash and feces. The trailer had no running water or electricity. Our rescue partner said 'It was, honestly, one of the worst properties I've been on and I have been on some BAD ones.' Thanks to our wonderful fosters we were able to rescue 8 dogs.
Hudson is a shy little guy. He takes a while to warm up to you, and then you can pet him and even hold him. He is good with other dogs, and is working on being social with people. He is now fine with having a collar on, and is still getting comfortable with being on a leash.
If you have the time and compassion to spoil this boy enough to make him forget he was ever in a hoarding situation, then this is the special little guy for you.
