My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Devi is a victim of a very bad hoarding case involving 200+ dogs. As a result, she came to us completely unsocialized, but she is making great progress. She spent the first month strictly inside her crate, but her foster is happy to report that she came out of the crate just before Thanksgiving. We have been taking things very slow with her and her foster family is now able to pet her. Now they are currently working on picking her up and giving her cuddles which is all new for her. She truly is a sweetheart. This beautiful dog is waiting for someone who has tons of love and patience to help her continue to gain her confidence.

The adoption process typically takes ~1 week. You will not take a dog home on the same day you meet him/her.

Additional adoption info

We require an adoption application to be filled out, an interview with one of our volunteers (this can be done at the adoption event), a home visit is required prior to the animal going to their new home.
