Meet Zippy
Zippy is a sweet Beagle who was surrendered because, true to her breed, she has a knack for chasing cats and, unfortunately, going after chickens. Since arriving at the shelter, she’s been very confused and scared but has remained quiet—quite the contrast to the usual energetic Beagle behavior!

She’s up to date on her vaccines, tested negative for Lyme disease, and will be receiving her Lyme booster in a couple of weeks. Zippy is still decompressing after a whirlwind few days—she just arrived on Sunday, was spayed on Monday, and now, on Tuesday, she’s resting and taking things easy.

We’re still getting to know her, but we’ll be sure to provide updates as her personality starts to shine through. This beautiful Beagle has plenty of potential to become a loyal companion in the right home.

Call 740-934-2693 to make an appointment to visit pets at our shelter! All pets are spayed or neutered and up to date on all shots before leaving our facility. You must fill out an adoption form and be approved. We will need to see a driver license or valid id card with your address.

$150.00 adoption fee for dogs/puppies. All dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on shots and rabies shots, wormed, heartworm and lyme disease tested.

$50.00 adoption fee for cats. All cats are up to date on shots, have been spayed and neutered, and feline leukemia tested.
