How this pet arrived:
Snickers was brought in by his previous owner on October 12, 2024.
Why this pet is the one for you:
Meet Snickers! Snickers is a sweet rabbit who enjoys his greens and naps! He's an active bun and is looking for plenty of space to explore and stretch his little legs. Once he warms up, he is social butterfly and enjoys snuggles with his favorite people! Although he enjoys attention, he does best when you don't pick him up, but let him come to you. The best way to bond with him is to spend time with him on the floor, and shower him with plenty of greens and Timothy hay! Snickers is a domestic rabbit and should be kept indoors. The nice thing about having indoor rabbits is that they can come out of their cage for bunny playtime, in a rabbit proof area of the home. It's during this supervised playtime that rabbits often exhibit some of their most fun and interesting behaviors! Snickers will need a large enclosure with free roaming time (bigger is always better) and would love a family who will interact with him daily and groom him often to keep him healthy and social! When rabbits get the space and enrichment they need, they often form deep bonds with their humans! Don't forget to bring a carrier for a safe journey home!
RHDV2 Vaccine: Rabbit Hemorrhagic Disease Virus (RHDV2) is a highly contagious disease that can affect rabbits. Due to its presence in San Diego County, all rabbits will receive a mandatory RHDV2 vaccine before adoption. Guests will be charged $14 for this vaccine upon adoption.
