How this pet arrived:
Rocky G was brought in by a community member.

Why Rocky G. is the one for you:
Meet Rocky G! This adorable guy is a graduate of our behavior center where he learned to be a certified good boy. He is a bit hesitant about new situations, so he requires a little extra patience and love. Once he warms up, he becomes a cuddly pup who loves affection. Rocky G. enjoys his walks, especially if he gets lots of opportunities to sniff! He also really enjoys car rides once he's comfortable and would love to sit on your lap while he looks out the window. We think he will thrive in a peaceful home with routine and predictability. He may benefit from living with another calm adult dog who can show him the ropes. If you're interested in adding this sweet and loyal pup to your family, email us at sdcadoptions@sdhumane.org today!

At SDHS:
Rocky G. has been vaccinated, microchipped and spayed/neutered and is now ready for his new home!

More about this shelter

San Diego Humane Society, an open-admission shelter, is creating a more humane world by inspiring compassion and advancing the welfare of animals and people. Our lifesaving safety net has helped San Diego become the largest city in the U.S. to keep healthy and treatable shelter animals from being euthanized. We are a private, independent, nonprofit organization that is not affiliated with any other humane society or society for the prevention of cruelty to animals.

With campuses in El Cajon, Escondido, Oceanside, Ramona and San Diego, we provide animal services for 14 cities within San Diego County. We not only care for 50,000 animals in our communities but also share the expertise we have gained through our innovative programs with shelters nationwide so they can save more lives in their communities.

While our influence is expanding nationally, our top priority is meeting the needs of San Diego. We provide exceptional care for all animals through world-class veterinary medicine, shelter and most of all: love.
