Hello! Iandamp;#39;m Warner! andlt;br/andgt;andlt;br/andgt;Prior to coming to Great Plains SPCA, I was living in a trailer with dozens of other dogs. I had virtually no interaction with humans, I had to scrounge for my meals, I didnandamp;#39;t know anything about the outside world and my only friends were dogs. andlt;br/andgt;andlt;br/andgt;Fast forward to today and Iandamp;#39;m living in a quiet foster home with two other dogs and two humans. Iandamp;#39;m grateful to be out of my old situation and Iandamp;#39;m learning to live in this new, big world! Iandamp;#39;m working hard, being brave and making progress! andlt;br/andgt;andlt;br/andgt;Iandamp;#39;ve come so far from being super fearful of people to now letting my foster parents give me some pets and scratches and even pick me up! I donandamp;#39;t know how to walk on leash, but Iandamp;#39;m working on that too! I love treats and food and that helps motivate me to learn new things. andlt;br/andgt;andlt;br/andgt;Iandamp;#39;m super happy playing with the young, fun dog who lives across the street. We run and chase and wrestle and have a swell time! I also happily entertain myself with squeaky toys, hard chew toys and balls.andlt;br/andgt;andlt;br/andgt;Iandamp;#39;m looking for a patient family in a calm, quiet home that is willing to take the time I need to get comfortable. We are reserving Mondays and Tuesdays for appointments for members of the public who are immunocompromised or are still uncomfortable being in large crowds due to COVID-19.
