My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Molly is our 3-legged go-getter!

Don’t let her 3 legs fool you, this girl is full of energy and life. She is always on the go and loves to be active. Fantastic movement. Sometimes you see her, and sometimes you don’t.

Molly has been owned but unfortunately her owners can no longer care for her. As a teenager, she got out of the house and was hit by a car. The owners rushed her to the vet, but the leg was unable to saved. You’d never know she only had 3 legs the way she moves!

Molly is quite short, a beagle-like body but is ‘stout’. She weighs about 38 lbs and was born December 12, 2022 (so right under 2 years old).

She has 1 blue eye and 1 amber eye – don’t worry, she has great vision. When she looks at you her eyes just glisten, they’re gorgeous.

Molly is house trained, and crate trained.

This sweet girl LOVES other dogs and would do fantastic in a home with them as she loves to run around and play. If no other dogs in the home, we strongly suggest somebody that is more active and that enjoys going on adventures, hikes or just long walks around the neighborhood.

She is a people pleaser and is very loyal. She will follow you around and be your shadow, right by your side. She knows commands and learns quickly to new ones. Molly is VERY food and treat motivated and will do anything for a yummy treat.

In her previous home she was around children, and she loved them! The kids always played with her, and they tired each other out.

Molly is leash trained.

An ideal home for Molly would be one that is more active and wants a dog that can join in that activity. She loves everyone she meets, she’s always been a house dog, and she is all around just a super playful, super loving, and a super best friend for the perfect family/person.

Molly is spayed, heart worm negative, current on vaccinations, current on preventions, microchipped and will have a health certificate giving her a clean bill of health from a veterinarian.

Additional adoption info

Most of our animals are located in Texas in foster care. 90% of our animals are adopted prior to transport, and adopter must pick up animal from the transport company who brings them up north (all USDA companies). We do have private companies that bring them directly to your home/office also. Sometimes we do have animals located in foster care up north - if this is the case we do put at the very top of the animal's profile where the animal is located in the north.

Once approved, we can put you in contact with the foster family to learn more specifics about the animal you are applying for.

We do try and process applications within 1-2 business days. Please make sure to list all appropriate information such as references contact information, vet contact information, current animal information, landlord information, etc.

We are mainly based out of Texas but can transport to locations all over the East coast.

More about this rescue

We are an animal rescue dedicated to helping neglected, abandoned, stray and homeless animals find their forever homes.

We found a need in our area due to the little to no options for the animals in rural areas in Texas - where most animals that ended up in our shelters were euthanized for space.
