My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I’m Iago.  I was just two weeks old and hiding in the bushes by a vet’s office when I was rescued.  There was no sign of my Mama or littermates.  I came to SBACC and then went to a foster home with another kitten named Jafar,  who was also found all alone.  We became brothers with different mothers.  I was bottle-fed until I could eat on my own.  Then Jafar and I went to another foster home.  Our foster Mom says we were a delight to have. We are both playful and snuggly.  We love to chase each other and run up and down the stairs.  We also love all our toys, the little mice, the toys on the strings, the laser, and especially the little spring-like toys and the tunnel.   We will play, play, and play and when we get tuckered out we love to snuggle together or on our foster Mom or human sister.  At night we sleep in our cat bed together or with our foster Mom. I sometimes make “biscuits” on a pillow or blanket or even someone’s shirt if I’m on their lap.  We’re both good eaters and love our water fountain.  We’ve been around small children and our foster home had two small dogs and two grown-up cats and we all got along.  We even snuggled with the older cats.  Jafar and I have been together nearly our whole life and we really love each other so we’re hoping to go to our forever home together.
