My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

ADOPT ROSIE! 🐾

Meet Rosie, a gentle and laid-back sweetheart who’s ready to steal your heart! 😻 She’s the ultimate couch potato, and you’ll often find her lounging around in the coziest spots, soaking up all the relaxation 🛋️. Whether you’re binge-watching your favorite shows or reading a book, Rosie is the perfect companion to snuggle up with.

But don’t let her calm demeanor fool you—Rosie also has a playful side that shines through! When the mood strikes, she comes to life chasing fuzzy mice, batting around her favorite wand toys, and rolling in catnip like a kitten 🧸🎣. She’ll keep you entertained with her bursts of playful energy, and then return to her laid-back, cuddle-loving self.

One of Rosie’s most endearing traits is her adorable little meow. She loves to "talk" and will happily chat with her humans throughout the day, making her the perfect conversational partner 🗣️. And when she’s feeling extra affectionate, she turns into a purring machine, giving endless love and snuggles 💕.

** Rosie needs an indoor-only, quiet home with plenty of room to run around, cat trees to climb on, and toys to play with. She needs a family who will give her lots of love, attention, and playtime. **

She does well with other calm, non-dominant cats after proper introductions. She would do best in a home without dogs. She does well with respectful, gentle children, and she is litter box trained.

Rosie is the best of both worlds—a calm, easygoing kitty with just the right amount of playful energy. If you’re looking for a kitty who’s affectionate, fun, and loves to relax by your side, Rosie will fit right into your home! 🐾

More about this rescue

Friends of Community-Cats Rescue is a 501c3 non-profit organization, with an incredible team of volunteers, dedicated to rescuing and saving the lives of cats and kittens whom are abandoned, neglected, sick, injured, unwanted or would otherwise be euthanized in shelters. We work with multiple shelters in Utah and are part of the Best Friends Animal Society Coalition aiming to make Utah a no-kill state.
We take in the abandoned, abused, unwanted, neglected, geriatric and neonatal, sick and injured and cats with severe behavioral problems. We get the cats medical care, rehabilitation and bring them back to health and prepare them for adoption. We have a great adoption program in which we spay/neuter, vaccinate and microchip the cats and kittens before placing them into loving, adoptive homes.
We participate in Trap-Neuter-Return for community cats. We provide food, shelters and medical care for more than 100 community cats daily. We also assist low income families with medical care and food for their animals.
We are 100% volunteer and foster based and rely on donations from the public to keep our organization running. We mostly focus on cats, however we do help other animals as well, such as dogs, small animals and livestock.
Our director, Kali Cristaudo, founded this organization in 2012. Since then, we have grown so much, formed an incredible team of volunteers and have saved thousands of lives and we will continue to save more and more lives every year.
